Leicester win race for Hirst

Leicester City have won the race to sign teen hot-shot George Hirst.
The 19-year-old has signed for Belgian Second Division club OH Leuven – managed by former Foxes’chief Nigel Pearson.
Leuven are the sister club of the former Premier League champions and ex-England youth international Hirst will be developed under Pearson’s watchful eye.
It appears as though Sheffield Wednesday will miss out on a significant fee for the player as Leuven come under the umbrella of a foreign football association.
The long-term plan will be for the player to move to Leicester – potentially even this January.
