Mourinho reveals his plans for new signings
Jose Mourinho says he wants two more players to join Manchester United before the summer transfer window slams shut.The Red Devils are currently on their pre-season tour of the US but have struggled for squad depth with a number of players still on their post-World Cup holidays.
Utd have played two games so far, drawing both and scoring only one goal.
“We don’t have a team to play much better than we did but [it’s] one more training session,” Mourinho told MUTV following a 0-0 draw against San Jose Earthquakes.
United have signed three players this summer - midfielder Fred, young full-back Diogo Dalot and goalkeeper Lee Grant.
However, Mourinho wants more before his chance ends on August 9.
“One thing is what I would like,” he told ESPN FC. “Another thing is what is going to happen.”
