Richarlison closes in on Everton move

Watford are close to a £50million deal with Everton for Richarlison – but the clubs have still not settled their stand-off over head coach Marco Silva.
The Brazilian winger was pictured on Merseyside checking in for a medical ahead of completing his move to Goodison Park and a reunion with Silva.
But the colossal fee - £40m plus increments – is not understood to include any settlement of the Hornets’ claim that Silva was tapped up by Everton last autumn.
Watford stood firm in the face of repeated approaches until Everton appointed Sam Allardyce instead – but Silva was sacked in January after the Hornets’ results nosedived, with 11 points from a possible 48 before the axe fell.
Owner Gino Pozzo sanctioned a scathing club statement blaming the slump on Everton’s “unwarranted approaches” and insinuating that Silva’s head had been turned.
