Sevilla targeting £13m Toon star Lejeune

Sevilla are looking to take advantage of uncertainty over Rafa Benitez’s future at Newcastle with a £13million move for centre-back Florian Lejeune.
Benitez only has a year left on his contract and is yet to agree a new deal after steering Toon to a ten-placed Premier League finish.
And that has encouraged Sevilla to test the Magpies’ resolve to hold on to Lejeune.
The Frenchman, 27, was signed from Spanish side Eibar for £8.8m last summer and Newcastle will resist interest in him.
But newly-appointed Sevilla boss Pablo Machin worked with Lejeune at Girona and is believed to have made him his top target this summer.
